Flood the 2026 MB Budget Townhalls: Prep Event

Virtual Event
Join us for an online prep call where we will provide you with the tools to participate in the upcoming MB Government Budget 2026 Townhalls as part of a climate contingent. We will also take action together and let this government know that climate solutions must be funded in the upcoming budget. We'll be covering how to register for a town hall near you, what to expect at the events, and how we can ensure that climate justice is at the forefront of these budget discussions. We are hoping to have a coordinated group attend the events and express our collective concern about this Government's inadequate action on the climate emergency, and our hopes for climate solution funding that actually meets the scale of this crisis.  After last summer’s devastating wildfires, a lot of Manitobans are concerned about climate change and our need to transition off of fossil fuels. Now is a critical time to express this concern and advocate for climate action in the 2026 budget. Additional details: You will receive the Zoom Meeting link after you sign up. Not sure when the nearest MB Government Townhall is taking place? Find upcoming dates and let us know which one you'll be attending here.

Manitoba Government Budget 2026 Townhalls

3x,
3 locations
This February, the Manitoba Government is holding several Budget 2026 Townhalls. We are hoping to have a coordinated climate contingent attend the events and express our collective concern about this Government's inadequate action on the climate emergency, and our hopes for climate solution funding that actually meets the scale of this crisis.  If you are planning to attend a townhall near you, let us know, and we'll connect you with others who will be there!  Additional information: We are holding an online prep call to coordinate our efforts and go over what to expect at the townhalls. You can register for the call here. To attend the MB Government Townhalls, you must register in advance here. Note: the townhalls are being organized by the Manitoba Government, not Climate Action Team Manitoba. CAT is coordinating efforts to make sure our voices are heard at these important budget conversations.
