Join us for a community dinner where we will share some delicious food and discuss our collective hopes and expectations for the upcoming provincial budget. The dinner is open to anyone, whether you are already organizing for climate justice in your community or looking for ways to get more involved. While there will be a short presentation, the goal of this gathering is to build relationships and strengthen the connections that will power our movement. Additional information: The food is free! Please RSVP so that we know how much to order. We have bus tickets available for your trip home. There will not be a designated childminder present, but you are welcome to bring your kids! Accessibility: The main entry (Portage side) is wheelchair accessible and the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible as well. The space is all single-floor. Please wear a mask to help keep our community healthy and safe. We want immune-compromised people to feel welcome. We’ll have masks at the door and air purifiers running.

Join us for an online prep call where we will provide you with the tools to participate in the upcoming MB Government Budget 2026 Townhalls.  We'll be covering how to register for a town hall near you, what to expect at the events, and how we can ensure that climate justice is at the forefront of these budget discussions. We are hoping to have a coordinated group attend the events and express our collective concern about this Government's inadequate action on the climate emergency, and our hopes for climate solution funding that actually meets the scale of this crisis.  After last summer’s devastating wildfires, a lot of Manitobans are concerned about climate change and our need to transition off of fossil fuels.
